Flower Arranging without Oasis
0
St. Mary's Church -
Elham Friends of St. Mary's Church
The date has now been confirmed to have a demonstration on arranging flowers without using oasis on this day. All flower arrangers are being encouraged to find alternative ways of flower arranging. This is your chance to find out how to go about it. Pat Webb and Maggie Newington have arranged for Nicky and Clare to demonstrate ingenious ways of doing this. It promises to be a fun and most interesting and informative meeting. We hope that members of St. Mary's Church Flower Arrangers and Elham Gardening Society will be able to come, as well as anyone else who is interested in finding out more about oasis-free flower arranging. Tea/coffee and cake will be served at some point during the demonstration. Donations towards costs would be welcome. Any queries, email Pat on patgeoffelham@gmail.com.Thank you.

A circular walk from Shepherdswell towards Lydden and across the Lydden-Temple Ewell Nature Reserve. There are some steep hilly sections and the ground can be a little uneven, which is why this walk is considered strenuous. 6.5 miles.

Our traders are already signing up for stalls to make sure they get a place in Elham Square or church, a really positive start!
So 9 June will be a day of celebrations: a bustling market in the square and church, dancing from the Pennyroyal Clog Dancers, church bells ringing, scarecrows to admire in the village, plus gardens to view, as the weekend is also Elham Open Gardens!
Make sure to put the date in your diaries.
