Charges for copy certificates

The current charge for copy certificates and handling fee charges can be found on our Certificate and Ceremony Fees page.

We aim to process all standard certificate applications within 10 working days and priority certificate applications the following working day. This service is not guaranteed, due to factors beyond our control. Once an application has been processed all standard certificates are posted second class and priority certificates are posted first class at no additional cost. There is an option to pay for 'signed for' postage on the booking form.

Family history applications do not take priority and may take longer to prepare.
