REGISTRATION DISTRICTS IN CLEVELAND

For the purposes of these pages, "Cleveland" refers to the non-metropolitan county of that name, which was formed on 1.4.1974 out of the counties of Durham and Yorkshire North Riding.

The county of Cleveland was abolished on 1.4.1996 and divided between the counties of Durham and North Yorkshire.
